We’ve had an exciting first few weeks this winter! We held an inspiring RIG meeting in which we discussed Elizabeth Raisanen’s work on the Digital Mitford project, which offers a digital archive of Mitford’s works and a visualization of Mitford’s position in the social networks of her time, and Ina Asim and Garron Hale’s collaboration on Colorful Lanterns of Shangyuan, a digitally washed and preserved version of a seventeenth-century Chinese scroll depicting city life. From the country to the city, from Mitford’s rural England to the metropolis of Nanjing China, our RIG continues to excite new thinking about the possibilities for DH projects.
