Undergraduate Minor

Why Minor in Digital Humanities?

The minor in DH creates opportunities for students to conduct original research, tell stories, and make interpretive arguments by creating digital projects. Students benefit from the program’s close ties with UO Libraries, the graduate New Media and Culture Certificate, and the Data Science program. Campus and community leaders reach out to the DH Minor directly to spread the word about new courses, visiting speakers, and special events, and to recruit applicants for internship and job opportunities.

What our Grads Have to Say

“The DH minor allowed me to combine my interest in historical research with digital tools and digital scholarship. I still use many of the tools I learned in the DH minor all the time in my professional and personal life. ”
